It’s only taken us a few months… but the old colonial style bird wallpaper is finally gone from our entryway!
Jay patched the walls with drywall mud, sanded everything down nice and smooth, and is now painting! (You can see that video in this post.)
We chose Farrow & Ball’s Green Smoke for an accent wall around the stairs, which really makes the white pop! And we’re sticking with our standard white: Westhighland White from Sherwin-Williams for the rest of the walls.
The green looks amazing, but I’m a little annoyed at how it makes the popcorn ceiling really stand out. I make a few comments about that near the end of the video.
