How To Not Cry When Cutting Onions – Onion Goggles!

Do you hate cutting onions as much as I do???

Do you weep and burn and curse the blasted onion that shows up in Every. Single. Recipe.???

Maybe you’re not as dramatic as me. But there have been times that I didn’t cook because I couldn’t bear cutting up an onion and crying in the process!

Well, that has all changed, my friend!

I cannot believe no one told me about this miraculous kitchen gadget. How have I survived so long?!

How have YOU survived so long? (Maybe you already have these and were holding back on me! How could you?!)

That’s right… I’m talking about ONION GOGGLES!!!

How To Cut an Onion Without Crying

You see… I’ve tried all the tricks.

I googled how to cut an onion without crying. The tips and tricks are pretty ridiculous and so unhelpful!

You’ve probably seen and heard tips for cutting an onion with no tears like these 7 tips:

  1. Use a sharp knife. (Really?)
  2. Cut the onion from the opposite side of the root tip.
  3. Cut really fast. (I’m not a chef, people!)
  4. Use your vent hood.
  5. Turn the cut sides away from you.
  6. Make sure the onion is really cold… refrigerate it.
  7. Cut the onion properly. (I literally saw this as a tip. Cut it “properly?” And by that, they mean like a chef! See tip #3.)

How To Actually Cut an Onion With No Tears

OK… let’s talk about something that REALLY works.

Are you ready?

ONION GOGGLES!!!

Guys, I’m not kidding. I’m not trying to sell you a product. (OK, I am, but everyone should have a pair or two of these!)

These things actually work.

Let Me Tell You a Real Story…

You see… I was visiting my best friend a few weeks ago.

She was chopping up dinner while I was sitting and chatting with her.

Her back was to me, when all of a sudden…

She turned around and had THESE on!!!

I was like, “What the heck are those?! Are those onion glasses?”

Sure enough, that’s exactly what they were.

I literally got on Amazon on my phone right then and there and purchased this amazing kitchen gadget!

I can’t believe I lived without them for so long.

My kids laugh at me every time I put them on, which is often because you know pretty much every recipe starts with an onion!

But I don’t care! I LOVE my onion goggles.

And literally no tears. They really do work. Watch my video. I chop up an onion for you with no crying… no editing!

So yeah… I know I’m really excited about these, but what can I say? This is probably my favorite kitchen gadget ever.

Go get you some onion goggles today and stop suffering when you cut an onion!

Let me know what color you get!
